We had DOW solar shingles installed when our home was re-roofed earlier this year. The Brinkmann folks put in extra effort to get the product through the City of Houston permit process prior to the final sign off. We appreciated that effort since we didn’t have the time to follow through with the city. Mr. Brinkmann lead the effort to get the final permit and approval. The city inspectors on the other hand routinely missed inspection appointments. The roof installation itself was relatively trouble free and the work crew did a good job cleaning up post installation. Many neighbors are now asking about the solar shingles. So far to date the Dow estimates of power production have been very accurate and we are seeing a lower electric bill every month.
